Terms of Service

These terms apply to every project and service KIVORIQ STUDIO ("we", "us") provides to you ("you", "the client"). Your written quote sets out the scope and price of your project; if the quote and these terms ever differ, the quote wins. By accepting a quote or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms.

Reference prices

  • The prices on this website, including the package and industry prices and the website cost calculator, are reference prices only. They show where most projects start, not a fixed price for your project.
  • Every business is different. Before we quote, we take time to understand what you need: your goals, pages, features, content and timeline.
  • Your written quote is the price that applies. It may be higher or lower than the reference price, depending on what your project includes.

Quotes

  • Quotes are free and valid for 30 days from the date they're sent.
  • Each quote lists what's included: pages, features, number of revisions and the expected timeline.
  • Work that isn't in the quote is extra. We'll always tell you the price and get your approval before starting it.
  • Prices are in US dollars (USD). If VAT applies, it is shown on the invoice.

Payments

  • One-off projects: a 50% deposit before work starts, and the remaining 50% before the website goes live on your domain.
  • Monthly services (care plans and SEO) are paid monthly in advance.
  • Accepted payment methods, payment details and due dates are sent with your quote or invoice.
  • If a payment is overdue, we may pause work until it's paid. The website goes live only after full payment.

What we need from you

  • Your content (text, photos, logo, prices, menus) and any logins we need, on time.
  • One person to give feedback and approvals on your side.
  • Timelines assume content and feedback arrive within a few working days. Delays on your side move the launch date.
  • If we hear nothing from you for 30 days, we may pause the project. To restart, we'll agree a new timeline.
  • You confirm you have the right to use everything you send us, such as photos, logos and text.

Revisions

  • Each project includes two rounds of revisions. A round is one consolidated list of changes, sent together.
  • Fixing anything that doesn't work as agreed is always free and doesn't count as a revision.
  • Further rounds, or changes to the agreed scope (for example new pages or features), are quoted separately.

Timelines

A landing page usually takes about 1 week and a company website 2–4 weeks. Your quote gives the timeline for your project. Timelines are estimates and depend on content and feedback arriving on time.

Ownership

  • Once your project is paid in full, you own your website: its design, the content we create for you and your domain.
  • You always keep ownership of the content you supply.
  • Third-party parts, such as fonts, plugins, stock or AI-generated images and hosting, are used under their own licences.
  • We may show your project in our portfolio and on social media, unless you ask us in writing not to.

Domain, hosting and third-party costs

  • Domain registration, hosting, business email and paid tools are paid for by you, and ideally registered in your name.
  • If we buy any of these for you, we'll agree the cost first and invoice it.
  • We're not responsible for outages, price changes or policy changes at third-party providers, but we'll help you deal with them.

Care plans and SEO

  • Monthly services run month to month. You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.
  • Each care plan includes the amount of work agreed in your quote. Larger changes are quoted separately.
  • SEO improves how visible your website is, but no one can guarantee rankings on Google or any other search engine, and we don't promise specific positions or traffic.

Cancellation and refunds

  • You can cancel a project at any time by telling us in writing.
  • The deposit is non-refundable. It covers our planning and the time we reserve for your project.
  • If the work completed is worth more than the deposit, we'll invoice the difference. You receive everything that has been paid for.
  • If we have to cancel a project ourselves, we'll refund any payment for work we haven't done.

Liability

  • We build your website with care and fix any fault in our work that you report within 30 days of launch, for free.
  • We're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data, or for problems caused by changes made by you or other parties, or by third-party services.
  • Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you've paid us for it.

Concept projects on this website

The demo websites in our portfolio (for example Lumeira and Velune) are concept projects created to show our work. They are not real businesses, and their bookings, payments and forms are for demonstration only.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. We'll always try to resolve any disagreement directly with you first.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Projects already under way keep the terms that applied when the quote was accepted.
